Hope you had a wonderful weekend. We want to thank all for all your support to our International Fiesta! We are very proud because our Monitos B did an excellent job.

During this week we will continue to learn more about “El Pais de mi Maestra”- The Country of my Teachers, such as Ecuador and Venezuela. We also are going to learn about their food, their typical dances and patriotic symbols.

Literature and Drama

Hola Monitos B parents.

We hope you had a wonderful weekend. During this week we are learning about " LA LITERATURA Y DRAMA"- Literature and Drama.

There is evidence to show that families that give importance to reading, writing, and speech, offering spacious and warm opportunities to read storybooks, children tend to develop very early and are children competent reading. The rhythm and repetition of poems for children, for example, make children feel as if the words and sounds were their friends. As you read over and over again their favorite books, develops another important step to bring together the sound of the word with the written word. The rhythms and sounds that children have when they are infants carry a value of greater joy helping them build their awareness of phonemes, a critical knowledge in learning to read.

Remember the International Fiesta this Friday!! We will need your support with the costumes. Please bring the boys ready and the girls with their leotards on.

We hope you are having a great day. This week we are learning about PINTURA-Painting We will have a lot of fun drawing, coloring and painting using different means.

The International Party is coming soon and we will need your support with the costumes. We will need you to please get for the girls a white leotard. They are already at the store but we are collecting the payment at the office. The cost of the leotard is $15.00 per girl. For the boys blue jeans and blue short sleeve shirts.

Please look at the cubbies of the children and check if he/she has appropriate clothing for this spring.
